Currently, we are unable to supply hot meals for our pupils due to Covid 19. Pupils who have signed up for school lunches and all KS1 children are entitled to have sandwiches provided by the school. We await guidance from the Local Authority / DfE as to when we can resume hot lunches for the children.
The school serves hot lunches every day for all children from Reception to Year 6.
Since September 2014 children in the Foundation Stage and KS1 are offered a hot Free School Meal under the government’s UIFSM scheme.
These meals ensure a healthy lunch which is both nutritious and appetizing. Children have the choice of either a meat/fish meal or a vegetarian alternative. There is always a salad bar and fresh fruit on offer.
The menus change weekly and we have a 3 week rotation.
Parents are requested to pay for school lunches before or on the first day of term.
Pupils also have the option to bring a packed lunch (milky or parev).
Peanut butter, sesame seeds and any other nuts are not allowed.
